The Recipe for 11/28/18

Pick of the Week (PotW):

Black Panther #6 revealed the unexpected origins of the cosmic N’Jadaka.  I am truly surprised by the role that the symbiotes have in it.  It’s interesting overall how important the symbiotes have become overall.

Coulda Been A Contender (For PotW):

SpiderGwenGhost Spider #2 revealed the origins of the Gwen Stacy Green Goblin and the Harry Osbourne Spider-Man.  I want to see more adventures of Spider Harry & Goblin Gwen.

Worthy Mentions:

The Silencer #11 felt like the cyber punk animes from the 90’s that I loved as a wee lad, but only with a deeper plot and more engaging story.  This is definitely my favorite book that spawned from the Dark Knight: Metal event.  Overall, Leviathan seems to be a more interesting than the League of Assassins.

Darth Vader #24 gave me a relentless and crafty Vader that I unfortunately never saw in the Lucas films. It’s a rare sight to see Vader humbled in combat and pushed to the brink.

Infinity Wars – Arachknight #2/Infinity Wars – Weapon Hex #2 continues the internal Marvel Amalgam Vibe.

Feeling Some Type of Way:

Return of Wolverine #3/Uncanny X-Men #3felt like lazy rehashes of things the audience has seen ad nauseam; Logan with amnesia   or the X-Mansion being destroyed.

The Meh Pile:

Nothing that loathsome or odious this week.
