I think it’s important for Marvel Studios to produce successful films that are not centered around the Avengers property.  I was never a fan of the cosmic comic book titles growing up.  The only one I can recall at the time was Silver Surfer.  And he’s lame.  But with titles like Nova (one of my favorite heroes ever, since New Warriors was one of the titles I collected as a kid) and Guardians of the Galaxy getting more attention while having great writers tell their tales, I’ve taken notice.

I haven’t taken the Pop Culture Challenge yet.  Honestly I’ve been saving it for just the right moment, because things like this are what make the Internet fun.  Can I possibly name more than 50% of these icons?  I’m going to say YES!  At least I’m hoping so.
