ESPN 6 The Seis

One day…..the forces of Good and Evil raged war for the attention span of Twitter users worldwide.  The battle field was left bloody, with miles and miles of comatose bodies laid to waste as the eyes could see. Once the dust cleared, only one true entity stood tall and could rightfully claim the name of The People’s Sports Champion.  That champion is ESPN 6 – The Seis!

The @ESPN__6 Twitter account’s creation birthdate is August 9, 2011 but it’s genesis takes place long before then.  Since everyone with an online presence fancies themselves a sports expert, people are quick to give their opinion.  Also remember anyone can post something online and have it be taken as fact, regardless of credible evidence.  This leaves the morons who believe anything they read online to fall for the ol’ okie doke.

Here is a great example of falling for the okie doke….”#ESPN6 reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have traded Michael Vick to the Carolina Panthers for a 1st round pick and player to be named later.”  Now you’re probably wondering “Who in their right mind would believe this tomfoolery?”  I hate to break it to you, but some people actually found this to be true.  Let us take a moment of silence for their naive souls……………………………okay moment over.

Even Todd Herreman, one of Vick’s OWN TEAMMATES on the Eagles, couldn’t escape the clutches of ESPN 6 – The Seis.  The man just practiced with Vick no more than an hour earlier, yet was seen scrambling on these Twitter streets for confirmation of the trade.  The Seis is a monster I’m telling you.
