KLIQNation Spotlight: 2011 Fountain City Classic

Saturday, November 5th the Albany State Golden Rams faced off against the Fort Valley State University Wildcats in the Fountain City Classic.  The Classic pits these bitter rivals against one another for bragging rights in the SIAC.

After getting off to an early first half lead, the Wildcats succumbed to the Golden Rams 38-29.  This win sealed the SIAC East title for the Golden Rams, as they go on to face Miles in the first ever SIAC Championship game.

As a third generation Wildcat, I wish nothing but defeat and humiliation for the Golden Rams in their quest for the SIAC title. But for now, enjoy the FVSU Blue Machine Marching Band and ASU Marching Golden Rams as they performed in the halftime battle of the bands.
