Marvel Unveils “Count On Marvel” Teaser Image

It looks like Marvel is taking shots at DC with their latest image.  52 slash marks……coincides with DC’s “New 52” relaunch.  Coincidence?  I think not.

Yesterday’s teaser with the #1 led to speculation about a new title coming out, or perhaps a reboot of the Marvel universe.  After seeing this image, I am now of the belief that Marvel is putting these images out solely for the purpose of taking public shots at DC.  Only question is will DC retaliate?

    Somebody pointed out that it this year marks 52 years since Fantastic Four #1, which is seen as the beginning of the “Marvel Age”. I just can’t get onboard with Marvel speculation anymore. DC usually builds to something, but Marvel just leaves ya disappointed. I gave up on trying to figure their stuff out after 1602, which was billed as this HUGE, earth-shattering project. The execution of that was pretty disappointing in the end.
