Professor W?? Wolverine Opens Doors to “The Jean Grey School for Higher Learning”

One thing I love as a comic book fan is how both Marvel and DC keep teasing the fans by releasing tidbits of news before big events.  If you are not aware, the X-Men family is having it’s own “civil war” internally during the Schism storyline.  Read my thoughts on it here.

If splitting the X-Men in half wasn’t shocking enough, now comes news that in issue #1 of Wolverine & The X-Men, Wolverine will be opening the doors of the newly formed “The Jean Grey School for Higher Learning”!  If choosing that name isn’t a blow to Cyclops I don’t know what is.  For those not aware, even though Scott Summers and Jean Grey become husband and wife, there has always been a love triangle between Cyclops/Jean Grey/Wolverine.

If anyone were to open a new school I would have put money on Cyclops.  Seeing Wolverine be the headmaster of a school is a new dynamic that hasn’t been explored before.  I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
