|Pick of the Week – Captain Marvel No. 1
What I dug: The Deep Space Nine vibe was a huge draw. Loved the fact aliens they dealt were not humanoid. Again, the presence of Alpha Flight is a treat! Anka did an excellent job with the character, space station and vehicle design!
What I don’t fancy: Not a thing!

Pick of the Week – Nowhere Men No. 7
What I dug: The wrapping up of the first story arc was satisfying. The fate and continued evolution of McQueen was very interesting. I was surprised that she was still conscious in her present state.
What I don’t fancy: Nada!

Pick of the Week – Star Wars No. 15
What I dug: Obi-wan’s presence in young Luke’s life was touching. It was interesting to see what Luke inherited from Anakin.
What I don’t fancy: Felt tragically too short!

Pick of the Week – Uncanny Inhumans No. 4
What I dug: The resolution of Kang’s interaction with the Inhumans was satisfying. His attempt to raise and groom powerful children is very comical at this point.
What I don’t fancy: Nada!

Deadpool No. 6
What I dug: Deadpool 2099 and her relationship with Wade gave more insight into his character.
What I don’t fancy: Wanted to see more of Wade’s daughter.

What I dug: The art reminded me of James Harren’s style.
What I don’t fancy: The current characterization for Drax…

Hercules No. 3
What I dug: The acknowledgment of Hercules long history with centaurs was a nice touch.
What I don’t fancy: The threat doesn’t seem that intimidating.

What I dug: The artwork and the pastiche are the main draws.
What I don’t fancy: Not invested in any of the charcters.

What I dug: The kinetic art of Tradd Moore is jaw-dropping! Enjoyed the fleshing out of the villain and her importance to history.

What I dug: The interaction between Kamala and her “rival” in their attempt to save Bruno and the other citizens!
