Preview: AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. #1
After the popularity of the hit ABC show Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it was only a matter of time before Marvel’s publishing line capitalized by putting out comics featuring stars from the show. It started last year with Mark Waid’s S.H.I.E.L.D., which introduced agents May, Fitz and Simmons to the Marvel universe.
Now, in the All-New, All-Different Marvel, S.H.I.E.L.D. returns in a new ongoing series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. from Marc Guggenheim and German Peralta. I always find it curious when Marvel keeps hiring Guggenheim for projects, when he works for their competition’s television division. But I guess it’s no different than writers and artists working at both DC and Marvel.
