Animated Adult Comedy Series ANIMALS Debuts February 5, 2016 on HBO

Animated adult comedy series Animals debuts Feb. 5

HBO has confirmed the debut date for ANIMALS, with the animated adult comedy series set to launch its ten-episode season FRIDAY, FEB. 5 (11:30 p.m.midnight ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.

Created by Phil Matarese & Mike Luciano and produced by Duplass Brothers Television, ANIMALS focuses on the downtrodden creatures native to Earth’s least-habitable environment: New York City. Whether it’s lovelorn rats, gender-questioning pigeons or aging bedbugs in the midst of a midlife crisis, the awkward small talk, moral ambiguity and existential woes of non-human urbanites prove startlingly similar to our own.

Below is a clip promoting the series.  What do you think?  Does ANIMALS stand a chance of surviving on HBO and finding an audience?  Let us know in the Comments section below.  And make sure to pay attention to the voice actors listed.  You may recognize a name or two.
