Picks of the Week:
Moonshine No. 3 was a refreshing coat of paint on the tired werewolf genre.  It reminds me of the best parts of the Howling, American Werewolf in London, and Ginger Snaps.
Reborn No. 3 continues to be a very unique afterlife. Part of me hopes that it gets optioned as a film.
Savage No. 1 struck me as Ka-Zar meets Tarzan more than Turok. Personally, they had me at island filled with thunder lizards. Adding a feral kid wielding a makeshift composed of a raptor talon was icing on the cake.
Spider-man No. 10 was a profound issue. Miles was completely vulnerable and exposed to his friends.  I am surprised that the stuff with his criminal uncle is still intact. I wonder what horrible stuff his dad has done to lead Miles to not want to be like him.

Worthy Mentions:
Action Comics No. 969 makes me wonder if Luthor will actually succumb to that dark future.
All New X-Men No. 15 was the proof that Hank can’t help himself with putting others or the world in jeopardy. His new form reminded me of Brute from Mutant X.
Amazing Spider-Man – Renew Your Vows No. 2 showed me what could have been the Spidey Books allowed Peter to grow and flourish.
Deadpool – Back in Black No. 5 is the perfect reimagining of the birth of the Eddie Brock Venom.
Deathstroke No. 8 made me chuckle and wonder why no one had attempted to trick Superman like that before Slade.
Descender No. 17 was interesting how tales of life (love) & death (envy) & survival unfolded in parallel.
Detective Comics No. 946 made perfect sense. She has suffered greatly through her connection to Bats.
Flash No. 12 was touching to see Barry open up to and inspire Wally.
Foolkiller No. 2 has that dark Venture Bros humor.  **** King was comedic gold!
Guardians of the Galaxy No. 15
Inhumans vs X-Men No. 1 feels off like most mega events, outside of Magneto, everyone else feels off.
Hal Jordan & the Green Lantern Corps No. 10 made me wonder what are the ramifications of the Lantern Afterlife.
Hawkeye No. 1 makes me wonder why things are relatively normal on the west coast.
Midnight of the Soul TP is noir at its best.
Silk No. 15 made me chuckle at the handling of Reily’s NuYou clones.
Supergirl No. 4 & Superwoman No. 5 are far more interesting than the Superman titles.  The stories feel fresh and unique instead of stale & recycled nostalgia.
The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl No. 15 made me desire a Mew spinoff book badly.
Daredevil No. 14, Gwenpool – Holiday Mix-Up No. 1, Jessica Jones No. 3, Mosiac No. 3, New Super-Man No. 6, & Suicide Squad No. 8 were underwhelming and/or boring!
