Fan Expo Presents Dallas Comic Con 2016 Feb. 13-14

Get to the Heart of Pop Culture at Dallas Comic Con Fan Days
Feb. 13-14 at Irving Convention Center

A planned trip to Texas for Valentine’s Day weekend has now turned into a convention weekend as well.  Some background — my fiance currently lives two hours from Dallas, TX.  We planned a trip for me to go see her for Valentine’s Day.  A few days ago she told me there’s a comic book convention taking place called Dallas Comic Con the same weekend.  After submitting my media application, I was approved for press credentials to cover the con!

What makes it extra special is my fiance is more excited than I am to be going.  When your significant other supports your passions, you feel like you can take on the world.

So, I’ll be at Dallas Comic Con for certain February 13.  With the 14th being Valentine’s Day, that’s more iffy.  Nonetheless, I’ll be covering as much as possible the 13th — panels, interviews, and photos.  The big draw seems to be the stars of Arrow and The Flash.  Maybe I’ll get a word or two with them.

Check back here in the upcoming weeks for my post-con recap.
