GWENPOOL Joins The Marvel Universe In New Ongoing Series
In honor of Gwenpool getting her own ongoing series in April, I took the time to flip through her Gwenpool Holiday Special from a few weeks ago. Normally I enjoy characters like Deadpool more in team books than their solo adventures, but Gwenpool was legitimately funny. Kudos to the creative team of Christopher Hastings and Gurihiru, who will be launching the ongoing series.
Marvel is carving out a nice niche of offbeat comics, including the likes of Howard the Duck, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, and now The Unbelievable Squirrel Girl.
