All-New, All-Different Avengers Lineup Revealed

So apparently while I was sleeping last night, the Internet tracked down the fully revealed cover to All-New, All-Different Avengers, which will be out on Free Comic Book Day, May 2nd.

A different silhouette has been unveiled each day, leading up to the entire roster being displayed.  So we have the new Thor, All-New Captain America, Iron Man (but who is under the armor?), Vision, Nova (Sam Alexander), Ms. Marvel, and Ultimate Spider-Man Miles Morales.

Creative team listed on cover is Mark Waid, Mahmud Asrar, and Laura Martin.  So it looks like my guess of Rick Remender was wrong.  Has Waid ever written Avengers before?  It feels like he would have, but I am not sure.  Glad to see Asrar graduate from the X-Men over to Avengers, and also getting to work with one great writer in Brian Michael Bendis to now Waid.

This roster is a weird mix.  It has youth in Ms. Marvel, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Nova.  Then you have new Thor (who’s identity will be revealed by the time this issue comes out).  Marvel obviously wants to capitalize on the popularity of female Thor, Ms. Marvel and Miles Morales.  Plus you know that more members will be revealed after the comic launches.
