avengers-3-2017-cover-header

Picks of the Week:
Avengers No. 3 reminded me of Doctor Who with the timey-whimey elements.  I loved how Wasp saved the day but was surprised by Sam’s statement at the end. Why would he even safe think after Vision’s actions?
Nova No. 2 made me realize how much I missed that loveable Russian telepathic mutt.
The Unworthy Thor No. 3 confused me a bit with Fury’s ultimate goal. Thori was a fun addition to the cast.  Bill proved himself to be the very definition of a good friend.
The Unstoppable Wasp No. 1 reminded me of Nowhere Men in the sense that it is a fun science themed book.

Worthy Mentions:
Aquaman No. 14 made me wish for more Aquaman vs Tigersharks action.
Autumnland No. 14 was particularly anticipated yet some surprising modern Barbarian fiction.
Black Science No. 27 reminded me of what made Sliders awesome.
Captain America – Sam Wilson No. 17 felt like too many social & political commentaries for one issue.
Champions No. 4 delighted me with who was chosen as team leader.
Deadpool the Duck No. 1 made me wonder when Wade will learn to say NO to teleporters.
GI Joe Revolution One Shot saddened me a bit with what happened to Wild Bill but delighted that Quick Kick wasn’t a mort.
Green Arrow No. 14 felt like a Scooby Doo episode in everything was resolved so cleanly.
Green Lanterns No. 14 reminded me of the old cliche villain replacing hero & causing havoc song & dance.
Hawkeye No. 2 felt too short. I wanted more.
Justice League No. 12 broke down Maxwell Lord & his connection to Waller.
JLA Atom Rebirth No. 1 gave us a taste of the Atom and his connection to Palmer.
Justice League vs Suicide Squad No. 3 established an unexpected touching connection between Superman and Killer Frost as well as confirmed why Lord’s squad is gunning for Waller.
Midnighter & Apollo No. 4 made me wonder what if he took their offer and how come he hasn’t run into anyone that he has killed.
Moon Knight No. 10 felt like a Vertigo book with its trippy elements.
Nightwing No. 12 surprised me in the sense that I always thought aquatic animal villains as lame, but she was surprisingly impressive and worked in the story.
Old Man Logan No. 16 can’t go wrong with Logan vs. The Brood in Space.
Scarlet Witch No. 13 is a suspenseful slow burn like the Vision series.
Superman No. 14 reminded me of the Superman elements of Infinite Crisis.
The Flintstones No. 7 should be added to the Adult Swim line-up ASAP.
U.S. Avengers No. 1 had me at flying squirrels carrying bombs and a mustached Red Hulk!
Unfollow No. 15 felt like a good SyFy original series like Battlestar, not Ghost Hunters.
The Burn Pile:
Won’t taint your beings by mentioning these offensive messes
