SDCC 2016: Brie Larson is officially Captain Marvel
After months and months of speculation, we can now say that frontrunner for the role of Colonel Carol Danvers, Brie Larson (’21 Jump Street’ ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’), is now officially Captain Marvel in the movie of the same name. This bit of high buzz came during the rush of news this past Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con. Outside of the logo for the movie, which you can see below, there doesn’t seem to be any other news surrounding the movie, but then again, it is still a ways off. So, revel in the news that now have a cinematic face to put to the iconic name.
Captain Marvel is to be released in theaters March 8, 2019.
