Marvel Pick of the Week – Ghost Racers No. 4

What I dug: The design work of Juan Gedeon is true star! A gun slinging centaur cowboy Ghost Rider and a T-Rex Ghost Rider riding on a jet was epic beyond words! The ending of the book was satisfying.  The fate of Arcade was unexpected.  Felipe Smith and Juan Gedeon need a monthly Ghost Rider series post Secret Wars! YOU HEAR ME, MARVEL! MAKE IT HAPPEN NOW!
What I don’t fancy: Part of me want this group of riders to survive Secret Wars.
Buy or Nah: BUY IT NOW!!!

Marvel Pick of the Week – Inferno No. 5

What I dug: The final confrontation between Peter and his precious Snowflake was satisfying.  The visual evolution of Peter’s body by the end of the book was a treat. I also liked how things unfolded for the Goblin Queen.
What I don’t fancy: That I won’t be seeing Dark Queen or Chibi Nate ever again…:-(
Buy or Nah: BUY IT NOW!!!

Captain America – White No. 2
What I dug: The classic portrayal of Cap and Bucky was a treat. Would love for this series to be Marvel’s next animated film.
What I don’t fancy: Nothing stands out.
Buy or Nah: Buy!

E for Extinction No. 4
What I dug: The revisit of Morrison’s X-Men run was a treat. Seeing Xorn’s special class and Cassandra Nova was a nice touch.
What I don’t fancy: I mentally link Morrison’s run with Frank Quitely.
Buy or Nah: Buy it!

Hail Hydra No. 3
What I dug: The premise of a Hydra controlled America is interesting.
What I don’t fancy: Found the story a bit boring.
Buy or Nah: Nah!

M.O.D.O.K Assassin No. 5
What I dug: This version of M.O.D.O.K is interesting.  I found his feelings for Thor Angela interesting and refreshing.
What I don’t fancy: Finally a version of M.O.D.O.K I dig and I probably won’t see him again.
Buy or Nah: Buy

S.H.I.E.L.D No. 10
What I dug: It has Warrick and Howard the Duck, what more can I ask for? The Doc Shaner art was icing on the cake!
What I don’t fancy: Nothing stands out.
Buy or Nah: Pick it up NOW!

The Calvary No. 1
What I dug: The transition of Melinda May into the comic universe was my main draw.  Luke Ross’ art is a nice fit for the series.
What I don’t fancy: No, real complaint
Buy or Nah: Buy
