What I dug: the revisiting of the Age of Apocalypse world and the slight remixing of the characters.
What I didn’t fancy: How the big bad was defeated
Buy or Nah: It is a buy if you dug the first about 20 years ago, you’ll enjoy the revisit
Agent Carter No. 1
What I dug: The interaction between Agent Carter and Lady Sif. The reader gets a real sense of their characters.
What I didn’t fancy: The art is good but Valerio Schiti has become the definitive Sif artist in my mind after his collaboration with Kathryn Immonen on Journey Into Mystery

What I dug: The exploration of Clint’s past, his relationship with Kate, and overall character. The highlight was Old Man Barton.
What I didn’t fancy: The shifting between art styles is a bit distracting, but it also forced me to pay attention

Armor Wars No. 5
What I dug: The characterization of Tony & Arno made sense in addition to the method behind their madness. Mecha suit battles, giant robots vs mechasuits, and gigantic mecha suit Thor!
What I didn’t fancy: Want to see more of this world, hope Giant Mecha Suit Thor somehow survives the reality reboot.
Buy or Nah: If you like robots, mecha suits, giant robots, then BUY IT NOW!

What I dug: The exploration of Steve & Bucky’s relationship in addition to their interaction with Fury & Dum Dum
What I didn’t fancy: I have a mild aversion to classic Marvel story art (probably because I started collecting comics when Jim Lee & the Image Founders were big at Marvel)
Buy or Nah: If you love Cap & classic Marvel stories, then buy it
Guardians of Knowhere No. 4
What I dug: The art and character design
What I didn’t fancy: Bendis’ writing on Guardians is a hit or miss for me. It didn’t grab me for this series.

What I dug: Death Lockette, the characterization of Pietro and his scheming aspect.
