The Soundtrack for Marvel’s Luke Cage is now available!

Marvel’s Luke Cage on Netflix has been released to great fanfare. One of the more consistent and compelling features of Luke Cage is the music showcased throughout its run. The music — a mix of Soul, R & B, Funk, a touch of jazz and of course, Hip-Hop — set the tone for every impactful moment of the series.

As of today, the Original Soundtrack Album for Luke Cage is available for fans. The 51 tracks that comprise the album consist mostly of the original score, which was crafted by Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammed from “A Tribe Called Quest.” We are also treated to songs by musical guests Raphael Saadiq, Faith Evans, The Delphonics, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, and Charles Bradley, which featured prominently on the show.

Finally, the soundtrack comes complete with the opening theme song , ‘Bulletproof Love’ by Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammed (feat. Method Man). Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be an instrumental version of the opening theme song, but what can you do?

Overall, this appears to be a great package for musical fans. Check out the links below to purchase the album from the digital retailer of your choice.

Marvel’s LUKE CAGE Original Soundtrack 2XLP

If you enjoyed the music of Luke Cage, then you owe it to yourself to add this to your musical library.

One thing to note: you don’t get the Hip-Hop gems of Wu-tang Clan’s “Bring The Ruckus,” ODB’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” or any of the Gangstarr-inspired episode titles as cuts. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was another album waiting in the wings made up of those songs and more.

For now, enjoy the musical feast prepared. Coffee not included.
