SDCC 2016: Justice League Action highlight reel released

Alright. Let’s get this out of the way. You, or someone you love, saw that headline and was instantly hit with sadness and possibly anger over the fact that there’s a new Justice League cartoon and it’s not in the style of the greatness that is the previous version, ‘Justice League’ and ‘Justice League: Unlimited’. The writer of this article may or not have been in that person, but let us get past this together, shall we. At Comic-Con this past weekend, Con goers were treated to a highlight reel from this new iteration of the Justice League, ‘Justice League Action‘. And, I have to say, there was action to be seen in the footage, so they got that part down. It appears that, in addition to the DC Trinity, we also see various League members such as Supergirl, Vixen, Firestorm and Plastic Man, to name a few. Hey, they even got Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill to reprise their respective Batman and Joker roles. And it seems this one might be going down the path similar to ‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold’ series. There seems to be a bit more humor into the mix, if the footage gives any indication.  Even the artstyle looks to be a cross between The Brave and The Bold and ‘DC Super Hero Girls’, personally. But, I am not here to editorialize, I am merely here to let you know that this exists and it’ll probably fine. Check out the video below, and if you feel inclined, look out for ‘Justice League Action’ sometime this fall.
