SDCC 2016: Black Panther Cast Is Confirmed!

(Source: Marvel.com)

In what is personally the most exciting news of the day, the cast of ‘Black Panther’ were introduced in Hall H at Comic-Con.  From his movie stealing role in ‘Captain America: Civil War’, we of course have Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, The Black Panther. And we also knew that ‘Creed’ and ‘Fruitvale Station” director Ryan Coogler was helming the film. There was also fact that Coogler collaborator, Michael B. Jordan was announced to have a part in the film. What we are now finally getting is who Michael B. is playing in Black Panther, as well as couple of notable castings.

We now know that Michael is playing the villain, Erik Killmonger. In addition to that, we also found out that Lupita N’yongo [‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, ’12 Years  A Slave’], who had been rumored to have been cast, will officially be cast as Nakia. And if that’s not enough, we also found out that The Walking Dead’s Dania Gurira has been cast as Okoye. Black Panther fans will know both of these characters as a part of the Dora Milaje. As I was already hyped for this movie, I am more hyped for it given these castings. There have been pictures of the cast, by the cast, tweeted and it’s a beautiful thing to see.
