Folks, we made it. We are now living in a post SDCC 2016 world and there is much to rejoice about. And to start the rejoicing, Timdogg is back from his beginning adventures in Newlywedismness. Don’t bother looking that up, because it’s totally a real fake word. And with that…
On this week’s show, we climb the volcano of news that spewed forth it’s bounty from San Diego Comic-Con and dig down into said news like so much Minecraft. We will definitely discuss, rejoice, and give our impressions about all of the trailer goodness from TV and movies, such as Netflix’s Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Defenders as well as Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Justice League and Wonder Woman, to name a few. And since there have been further bits of news from those properties and more, we talk about a good chunk of it.
As with any good Comic-con, there were also a slew of comic book announcements that we tucked in our pockets and will talk about, such as the new Marvel book, World of Wakanda written by Roxanne Gay. (Rejoice!) We also have toy news, comics reviews, and thoughts aplenty on the lot of them that we will bring to you. And since it’s been a pretty grand week in comic book releases, there will be much rejoicing over trying to pick our#kliqsoftheweek, which may make for an interesting go, given this week’s crop.
