Pick of the Week – Rumble No. 9
What I dug: The origins of the hybrids and their plight was a nice touch. It also illustrated how Rathraq’s campaign against his hated enemies caused horror to reign down on the innocent.
What I don’t fancy: Not a thing!
Buy or Nah: BUY IT NOW!!!

Pick of the Week – Invisible Republic No. 7
What I dug: The ever expanding and interlocking story of Arthur, Nica, and Nica is an engaging one.  The Hardman art is a boon and a blessing.
What I don’t fancy: Nada!
Buy or Nah: BUY IT NOW!

Pick of the Week – Switch No. 2
What I dug: The remix of the Witchblade concept and Mary’s interaction with the original Witchblade cast is more than a treat to fans of the original!
What I don’t fancy: Nada!
Buy or Nah: BUY IT NOW!

Chew No. 52
What I dug: The cereal exorcism was a nice Easter egg, always knew there was something sinister about a chocolate Dracula! Didn’t realize that a mere bite was enough to absorb information.
What I don’t fancy: Cliffhanger!!!
Buy or Nah: Buy!

Jupiter’s Circle No. 1
What I dug: Wilfredo Torres’ art is so gorgeous. The new Millar writing style is appealing, no more cliche over-the-top violence or sailor swearing.
What I don’t fancy: Nada!
Buy or Nah: Buy!

Kaptara No. 5
What I dug: Kaptara is to He-Man what Venture Bros is to Johnny Quest.
What I don’t fancy: Lack of action figures and or figurines based Kaptara!
Buy or Nah: Buy it!

Ringside No. 1
What I dug: Daniel Knossos is an interesting character and I dug the moment with Reynolds. The interaction between Daniel and Reynolds felt so natural. At different points in our lives, we play Reynolds or Daniel so the scene resonated with me.
What I don’t fancy: THE CLIFFHANGER!!!
Buy or Nah: Buy!
