First Look At Jay Garrick In THE FLASH Season 2

It was announced over the summer that Golden Age speedster Jay Garrick would appear on season 2 of The Flash.  Jay Garrick will be played by Teddy Spears.

Now we get our first glimpse of Sears in Garrick’s iconic uniform.  The CW Network Twitter account for The Flash shared an image paying homage to the cover of The Flash #123 “The Flash of Two Worlds” with both Barry Allen and Jay Garrick displayed.

This brings more evidence that season 2 of The Flash will deal with the DC Comics’ multiverse.  In the comics, Jay Garrick was a member of the Justice Society of America, which resided on Earth-2.  This opens up so many possibilities for storylines and guest-stars.

The Flash season 2 will start on October 6, 2015.
