This week Timdogg is joined by @PCN_DiRT and @Agent_70 to discuss this week’s comic book releases.  Some of the books we’ll discuss today are:

Marvel – All-New X-Men #9, Avengers #8, New Avengers #4, Superior Spider-Man #6, Nova #2, Cable & X-Force #6, Captain America #5, Indestructible Hulk #5, Savage Wolverine #3

DC – Justice League #18, Justice League of America #2, JLA’s Vibe #2, Nightwing #18, Red Hood & The Outlaws #18

Image, IDW, Dark Horse and more!

Timdogg also attended Megacon this past weekend in Orlando!  So there may be some discussion on what all went down at the convention and panels.

We’ll also touch on the recent comic book news, specifically DC changing creative teams on Green Lantern Corps, Red Lanters, and Action Comics, and Marvel spoiling one of the surprises at the end of Age of Ultron.

    I agree with the killing of Guy Gardner… Baz is too new, Hal was dead for awhile, John is the Green Lantern everyone knows, and Kyle… Kyle is a personal bias.

    I’ve heard that even Didio doesn’t have that much say anymore, though he seems to be the guy everyone jumps to attack.

    Those prints are nice as hell.

    Y’all didn’t mention Nightwing for Justice League…. *Disappointed*

    I really enjoyed the artist discussion towards the end…. While I agree I would never buy a Bagley poster (funnily enough I have a Bagley F4 poster I got free from my LCS), I would totally buy a Larocca poster. Another person I would add to the “gets shit done on time” list, even though he’s relatively new is David Marquez… He’s come in several times to help out on Bendis books when the regulars have needed fill ins and his art is incredible.

    • Thanks for watching and for the comment Shaun! I can’t believe we almost forgot Nightwing too. Especially with all that’s happened in the Batman family recently.

      I’m loving Dave Marquez on All-New X-Men. This is my first time seeing his work, but I recall he’s also filled in on Ultimate Comics Spider-Man I believe?
