Spider-Man Meets Spider-Man in Upcoming SPIDER-MEN

My initial reaction to the revelation that the Marvel 616 Spider-Man will be crossing over with the Ultimate universe Spider-Man was anger and annoyance.  Why have the Ultimate and 616 universes intersect?  This seems like a ploy for more readership.  Just like killing a fan-favorite character is to generate interest.  Miles Morales is still a fresh new character, why way him down with the 30+ year history of Peter Parker? Hopefully Brian Bendis knows what he’s doing.  I don’t want this to negatively effect Miles Morales in any way.  The kid is a fun, fresh new hero.

SPECIAL EDITION PODCAST:  iFanboy Make Comic Podcast #17 – Art Portfolio with Robert Atkins
Growing up I was always a fan of drawing the images I would see in the comics I collected.  I never was good at drawing things out of thin air, but if I could see it in front of me, I could draw it.  So anytime I can read or listen to tips related to drawing, like an artist’s portfolio, I tune in.

How to Get Insanely Rich Making a Massive Hit Game

It never hurts to hear tips from someone who took their talents, worked hard and became successful by making an app that appeals to the masses.  It is encouraging because it makes me think to myself, “Do I have it in me to be this creative, while also profiting off it?”

Google+ Gets A Big Refresh With New Navigation, A Redesigned Stream, A Dedicated Hangouts Page & More

Though I do not use it daily, there is still great value and untapped potential in Google+.  Google obviously feels the same way, because they have made some alterations to the site.  It looks like Google is cleaning up the user experience for the end users.  I’m curious to see if my thoughts change after experiencing the changes firsthand.
