Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Expanding Their Cast For Season 2?

After what has felt like forever, Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes kicks off it’s second season this Sunday, April 1 on Disney XD. Last season’s cast of Avengers seems to be growing a bit, according to the released image below. (Click image to enlarge)

Now this is what I’m talking about! Give us more heroes and more villains. There have been so many Avengers throughout their comic book history, it only makes sense to incorporate them into their animated adventures. Many people will compare this to the expansion that Justice League Unlimited underwent during it’s run on Cartoon Network. The best thing about that is Justice League Unlimited really took off after adding the “Unlimited” banner. Avengers: EMH has the potential to do the same thing.

There is a question as to who the female is between Yellowjacket and War Machine. The website Newsarama guesses that it is the comic book character Daisy Johnson, Quake from Secret Warriors. Besides her, my biggest surprise is seeing Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier. I can’t wait to see how he is revived in the present and his progression into becoming Winter Soldier.
