German Trailer for “The Avengers” Includes Bonus Footage

Today the German version of The Avengers movie trailer was released.  Normally I would not care about watching a trailer with German voice dubbed over it, but it had been awhile since I last watched The Avengers trailer, so I gave it another viewing.

What surprised me is there are a few extra scenes included in this German version.  We get clips of Captain America jumping out of a military plane, and standing on the street throwing his shield towards the screen (to show off the 3D effects I’m sure). Black Widow and Bruce Banner dialogue, Hawkeye shooting an arrow from a scaffold, and Thor standing in what looks to be a forest.

I may have missed a scene or two, but those are the ones that stood out to me, compared to the American trailer.  Watch the German trailer below and see if you notice any extra images.

The Avengers is scheduled for theaters May 4, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård and Samuel L. Jackson.
