THEY WANT US BACK IN THE FIELDS
Police brutality was a thing of the past, or at least I thought. A few days ago in NYC, attendees witnessed ignorance created by taxpayers dollars at its finest. Ongoers at the Pete Rock/Smif-n-Wessun “Monumental” album got the last thing they expected, a chaotic ending to what was seeming to be a peaceful night brought on by NYPD. It was rumored that Pete Rock himself, along with his wife and daughter were victims. He later dismissed that rumor. I look at it like fear via ignorance fueled the incident. Luckily enough, there were no serious injuries. UK promoter, Lady Jay Diamond felt compelled to release video of the incident.
